This week our Director Kris Rudzika attended EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum workshop. This event is a great opportunity to explore the most recent developments in the Blockchain community and provide input for the reports and industry. This workshop focused on scalability, interoperability and sustainability.

What is the mission of EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum?

The main goal of EU Blockchain Observatory and Forum is to accelerate the development and implementation of these new technologies in the EU and establish Europe’s position as the leader in this newly emerging technology ecosystem. It is important to create an attractive forum for sharing information. It can be done by monitoring, gathering knowledge and observing complex dynamics of emerging new industry players and technology advances. These objectives are important in order to figure out what role EU should play in developing this exciting new technology.

This centralized approach instead of a patch work of initiatives can help to master new possibilities that Blockchain brings to the table while benefitting all citizens. It also helps to educate about the real business models involved.
